About Me

I am originally from Liverpool in the North West of England. I left my homeland thirty-three years ago to create a new life in Australia, where I married and subsequently raised my family.

I have had an extensive nursing career and managed an acute neurosurgical unit, I loved this interesting work and was inspired by the many brave patients I cared for and the strength of their families.

A love of reading and writing keeps me curious, creative and engaged. I have had some of my short literary fiction published and I am currently writing a memoir.

Like most people, I have had my own share of adversity and continue to expand my learning and skills through ongoing education. I receive my own clinical supervision which provides me with professional support.

I believe, that given the right conditions, environmental and therapeutic support, most people are able to overcome enormous challenges and thrive, if they receive appropriate support to navigate their personal difficulties. My hope for my clients is, that they acknowledge their own strength and resilience and develop a sense of renewed optimism and contentment.
